Kicking Off 2012!
Hey Everyone! Hope you have all had a FABULOUS start to your 2012. The band and I have had a great time playing some really great shows in NC over the last few weeks and I just want to say thank you so much to everyone who has come out and supported us! We had the wonderful opportunity to headline the Triad Live Music Festival at the HanesBrands Theatre in Winston Salem last weekend and will be posting some more show dates over the next few weeks!
I also had the chance a few months back to be a part of a very special project by an incredible NC based organization called Arts For Life. AFL is a non-profit organization operating in hospitals all over NC that allows sick children to engage in the arts in various ways. Various musicians and composers from NC and New York came together last fall and set the poetry of some of the children in the AFL program to music, creating a CD entitled "Life Is Bold". I was fortunate enough to be able to sing on one of the tracks called, 'Do Whatever'. As some of you already know, a few months ago I finally caved and became a smart phone user. In honor of this great achievement, I'm very excited to announce that in February we will be releasing a Lacy Green Music Mobile App for all Iphone and Droid users. This FREE app will allow you to stream my debut CD in it's entirety, as well as view new videos, photos, show dates and exclusive new music before anyone else. In a few weeks I'll be headed back to Nashville to write and record some new music. The holidays were a great time for me to dream up some new ideas and I have big, BIG plans for 2012 that I can't wait to share with all of you.
