Lacy Green is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter, raised in the foothills of North Carolina, in a tv town known mostly for its myth. Her songs often carry the same sense of in-betweenness as her childhood landscape, with ordinary scenes that crack open into something more unsettled and searching.

With a voice that’s warm but edged with restraint, Green leans into nuance rather than resolution, letting her characters embody contradiction, doubt, and hope in equal measure. Pulling from an eclectic range of sonic influences, her songs have found homes with dozens of other artists projects across country, bluegrass, pop, film, and tv.

Green is also the lead singer of the band The Wonderful Nobodies and author of “The Wire”, a children’s book based off of her song of the same name.
